Why DAXXIFY?
DAXXIFY® works the same as other neuromodulators; however, instead of using human serum albumin as a stabilizer, DAXXIFY® uses Peptide Exchange Technology® or PXT.2,5-8 PXT helps anchor the toxin to its target and may enhance internalization and maximize efficiency.13* PXT also prevents adsorption and aggregation of BoNT/A.
When can I see the results?
Results are seen as early as the next day after treatment, typically seen within two days.
How long does it last?
DAXXIFY® lasts an average of 6 months and up to 9 months for some patients. This is the perfect product for individuals thinking to get pregnant or wanting year-long results with as few as two treatments.
What are the common side effects?
Some common side effects are injection site pain, swelling, brusing, and headache. We use a careful approach to mitigate these effects and recommend applying ice after.
What are the risks?
When used appropriately by a trained medical professional, botulin toxins are generally safe. Rare but serious risks can include allergic reactions or the spread of toxin to other parts of the body causing muscle weakness or other symptoms. Botulin toxins are also not recommended for pregnant patients.
